Orora Cans Manufacturing Facility

Located in Dandenong South, Victoria, the Orora Cans manufacturing facility is a major beverage packaging production site operating in a demanding industrial environment.

Premiair Group was engaged to deliver an effective cooling solution across the large manufacturing facility, helping improve workplace comfort and maintain reliable operating conditions within the production environment.

Orora Cans required a cost-effective cooling solution for its manufacturing facility, where high heat loads generated by production machinery, combined with Melbourne’s hot summer conditions, were creating uncomfortable working temperatures throughout the facility.

The challenge was to deliver effective cooling across a large industrial space while ensuring even air distribution and maintaining operational efficiency within the production environment.

Premiair designed and installed a large-scale evaporative cooling system tailored to the facility’s operational requirements. The solution incorporated two commercial Braemar evaporative coolers, complete with custom ductwork and large-scale fabric ducting to ensure balanced airflow distribution throughout the workspace..

The system was designed to maximise airflow coverage, improve worker comfort, and provide an energy-efficient cooling solution for the industrial environment.
