Bunurong Memorial Park

Bunurong Memorial Park is one of Victoria’s largest and most significant cemetery and memorial destinations, providing a peaceful environment for visitors, families and staff.

Premiair was engaged to deliver a refrigeration system upgrade that improved operational performance while addressing site-specific requirements, creating a more suitable and reliable solution for the facility.

The existing package refrigeration units were located within an enclosed plant area, resulting in excessive mechanical noise being transmitted into adjacent workspaces. The ongoing acoustic issues were impacting the surrounding environment and made the existing system unsuitable for continued operation.

A new refrigeration solution was required that would address the noise concerns while maintaining reliable temperature control and improving overall system performance.

Premiair designed and installed a new remote refrigeration system incorporating separate condensing and evaporator units. By relocating the major noise-generating equipment away from occupied areas, the new configuration significantly reduced noise transmission while providing a more efficient and serviceable refrigeration solution.

The project was delivered as a complete turnkey solution, from design and equipment selection through to installation, commissioning, and testing.
